STUDIOS Wins 2014 Good Design is Good Business Lifetime Achievement Award

The firm was honored at the American Architectural Foundation’s 2014 Accent on Architecture Gala on April 24th at the historic Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC. STUDIOS is just the third firm ever to receive the Architectural Record Good Design is Good Business Lifetime Achievement Award. The award honors architects who best utilize design to achieve strategic business objectives.

Several STUDIOS projects have been honored in the past for “demonstrating how thoughtful architecture, cohesive collaborations, and sustainable resource management can benefit a client’s bottom line, productivity levels, and preparedness for the future.” These include 200 Fifth Avenue, Edmunds.com, IAC, Bloomberg, LP, and the California Department of Public Health. The Honorable Carolyn G. Goodman, Mayor of the City of Las Vegas; the Honorable Oscar B. Goodman, Former Mayor of the City of Las Vegas; Novartis; and the Chicago Architecture Foundation were among the other honorees at the American Architectural Foundation’s annual gala.
