STUDIOS has joined together with the non-profit organization Public Architecture in the 1% program, in which design firms donate their time to a variety of non-profits. Projects vary from office renovations to the design of new community facilities.

Net Impact is a community of over 80,000 student and professional leaders from over 300 volunteer-led chapters across the globe working for a sustainable future. They provide the network and resources to inspire emerging leaders to build successful “impact careers” - either by working in jobs dedicated to change or by bringing a social and environmental lens to traditional business roles.
STUDIOS designed Kiva's new 17,000 sf offices. To support Kiva’s mission and to reinvest in both the local and global community, STUDIOS provided all services pro bono. Kiva provides micro-loans to emerging businesses in an effort to alleviate global poverty.
Working pro-bono, STUDIOS designed a new barn and tool shed for use in their community garden. APC works to end homelessness by providing housing and services to create communities where formerly homeless families and individuals can flourish.
STUDIOS donated design services (and also completed commissioned work for) the United Services Organization (USO) at Fort Belvoir and Bethesda. A nonprofit, congressionally chartered, private organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities. USO Warrior and Family Care is a comprehensive long-term program that supports the continuum of care that helps provide wounded, ill or injured warriors with the hope and confidence to sustain their journey towards a full and rewarding life.
Since 1997, STUDIOS has participated in the Leap Sand Castle Classic, an annual event to raise funds for art programs for K-8 schools.
STUDIOS regularly donates time and funds to Publicolor, an organization that works to repair and upgrade public school facilities, as well as raise money for youth education programs.

Each spring in New York, DIFFA's DINING BY DESIGN debuts in a spectacular display of cuisine, creativity, and glamour. STUDIOS partnered with Marimekko to create a unique dining space for the event.
Canstruction® is a unique charity which hosts competitions, exhibitions and events showcasing colossal structures made entirely out of full cans of food. After the structures are built, the creations go on display to the public as a giant art exhibition. At the end of the event, all food is donated to local hunger relief organizations.
