Located at the prominent intersection of Santana Row and Stevens Creek Boulevard, 300 Santana Row marks a bold new gateway to the 40-acre upscale retail, residential, hotel and office development. This new speculative commercial building features 60,000 SF of office space over a two-story, 23,000 SF retail base, as well as a standalone parking structure to serve tenants.

The client asked STUDIOS to create a signature building that will attract world-class tenants, and function as a three-dimensional billboard, integrating signage and graphics through sophisticated architectural, audiovisual and lighting design. STUDIOS’ concept for the new building conveys a sense of lightness and transparency, and utilizes state-of-the-art light and projection technology to provide separate day and nighttime visual experiences for occupants and passersby.

In September 2010, artist Christopher Baker used the facade of the building as a canvas for his latest piece, entitled “offscript”, in which he posed the question “What is your dream for the future?” Participant responses were then projected onto the side of the building.

This project is certified LEED Gold for New Construction.
