Curators from the Asian Art Museum chose STUDIOS to develop the conceptual design for an exhibition on Chinese calligraphy from a private collection. The exhibition opened October 3, 2012 and consisted of 40 pieces of work divided into 15 featured pieces and 25 support pieces. The intention was to exhibit the featured works in their entirety and each support piece served to present one issue or concept.

The conceptual design included the overall presentation of the exhibit as well as developing specific display space for featured pieces.
