Bouygues Energies & Services are specialised in energy networks and MEP engineering, has had its new headquarters built in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, just outside Paris.

STUDIOS was associated with the project from the start and was asked to develop the interior design concept of the new offices. The main brief is to make the building a showcase for the client’s new technologies and know-how and to create a functional, friendly and essentially open-plan workplace environment.

The ground level includes a show room – a modular space with state of the art audiovisual equipment used for client presentations and events – which opens onto other key spaces: the plaza designed as an extension to the “village square” which makes use of public lighting, the entrance hall which will be lit by four vertical LED panels, and the security point which will display the building’s management systems. A modular restaurant area which can transform into a large meeting room, along with a cafeteria and further meeting areas, will complete the ground floor space.
