STUDIOS’ client based in the 8th arrondissement of Paris wished to relocate its staff in a building nearby which he also owns. STUDIOS was asked to renovate the new building and to design its interior space.
The project has two objectives: satisfy the owner’s desire to develop a project
that will be both durable and consistent with the real estate market, while providing users with amenities that will match their needs.
To enhance the building, STUDIOS proposed to showcase its dark inner
courtyard which has been neglected so far and designed a glass roof
overlooked by a landscaped green wall allowing sunlight throughout the
multipurpose room, the lobby and the boardroom.
On the top floor, which offers unobstructed panoramic views on the city, the client chose to include a cafeteria: employees will use this modular space which can also be privatized for exclusive use by senior management. STUDIOS sober and contemporary design focuses on light and thoroughly selected materials which contribute to the quality of the project.
