In 2005, Credit Suisse Group initiated studies for the consolidation of four of its Paris-office locations, in line with the group’s larger reorganization strategy to create “One Bank.”
STUDIOS assisted CSG in preparing a hypothetical client program, in establishing a procedure for choosing a new location and with feasibility studies. Space studies were carried out on several different potential sites, all approximately 5 000 m² in size, so that CSG could evaluate the possibilities and determine the most cost efficient and economical project around the “One Bank” concept. Despite the various constraints of the different leases, CSG was able to move everyone into their new offices on schedule by the end of 2006.
In addition to the fit-out of the office spaces, STUDIOS was asked to design the more public areas including the client meeting rooms, an auditorium of 70 seats and a staff restaurant with a seating capacity of 60. Using a coherent palette of sober colors and high quality materials, the overall result is decisively contemporary and in line with the new image of the 150-year-old organization.
