To accommodate their rapidly growing organization in Paris, the law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell asked STUDIOS Architecture to assist them in selecting and designing their new office space. Located on the prestigious avenue des Champs Elysées, the new offices occupy two floors of a Haussmanian building. One-fourth of the lower floor is dedicated to the reception and conference center; the rest of the space being occupied by individual offices gathered around the secretarial pool. In addition to the conference center, STUDIOS also designed a lounge for the partners, a kitchen and dining area, a library and a copying center.

STUDIOS worked in close collaboration with the New York headquarters team to ensure that the corporate design guidelines were respected, while at the same time adapting the project to the local French team’s requirements. Each office has made-to-measure frosted glass doors using a special process developed for the automobile industry, which not only fulfill the client’s acoustic requirements but also allow natural light to penetrate the hallway.
