To accommodate their rapidly growing organization, eBay asked STUDIOS to assist them in selecting and fitting out their new Parisian offices. Located in a newly renovated set of buildings, which formerly housed a telecommunications center, eBay’s offices are split up into two buildings linked by series of elevators and stairwells that have been customized with eBay’s colors.

The Herman Miller Resolve workstations were reused and new workstations added. The existing columns in various shapes were covered with cylindrical shells and accessorized with small niches to showcase eBay’s promotional products. Large panels vaunting the company’s values divide the central space. The large meeting rooms and focus rooms are located at each end of the space. The cafeteria, equipped with a bar and a lounge area evokes Parisian brasseries.

STUDIOS worked in close collaboration with eBay’s corporate office in California to fulfill eBay’s corporate design guidelines, while at the same time adapting the project to the local French team’s requirements.
