La Redoute, a leader in catalog and online sales of clothing and accessories in Europe, asked STUDIOS to restructure its headquarters, which is housed in a group of industrial buildings. The objective of the project was to improve communication within the company by reorganizing the space around the Strategic Markets and Marketing divisions through the implementation of a modern, flexible and evolving design that would correspond to La Redoute’s corporate image.
A new central atrium encourages social interaction among employees and brings new life to the space. Meeting rooms-enclosed by transparent color panels-are dispersed along an interior “boulevard” that links the different buildings. On both sides of the “boulevard” workstations capitalize on natural light and high ceiling heights. A bright color palette of orange, yellow, green, pink and blue was used to define the different floors.
This project was successfully implemented in an occupied site and on a very limited budget.
