SAP, a German-based software company, asked STUDIOS to design the interiors of their North American headquarters. Construction of their new building had already begun and SAP wanted to rethink nearly every aspect of their office environment. STUDIOS had to work quickly to gather and synthesize information relating to SAP’s needs in order to develop design standards for all future SAP offices.
STUDIOS divided the headquarters into two sections: public and private. On the public side, the space had to accommodate SAP’s training and marketing activities. The result is a variety of conference rooms ranging from stepped auditoriums to informal lounge areas.
Located in the private section is an open work environment with employee amenities such as a fitness center and juice bar. In designing office space for SAP, STUDIOS developed a single workstation that can accommodate high level executives, consultants and visiting SAP personnel.
