The Johnson Company relocated their headquarters from a partial upper floor at Rockefeller Center to the second floor of the French Empire Building, overlooking the iconic plaza and ice rink. STUDIOS provided Interior Design services from Concept Design through Construction Administration, as well as custom furniture services.

STUDIOS created a warm, welcoming environment that is gracious, as well as efficient and functional. In addition to the daily workings of the office, the conference, pantry, and arrival sequence space were planned for hosting special events in both the day and evening. The design embraces the unique site by allowing views out and daylight in through windows and glass walls.

A clean, modern luxury permeates the space. Curved, gloss white feature walls delineate public and private zones. The pantry accommodates a variety of events and includes seating with views to the neighborhood. Cutaways in the ceiling give the space even more height, while delicate glass pendants lights brighten seating areas.

The offices fully integrate the latest technology for lighting, security, media and communications, with motion sensors, automatic shades, and hidden video screens, microphones, and speakers.
