Level-2 Development hired STUDIOS to provide interior architecture services for View 14 condos in Washington, D.C. This 10-story, 170-unit residential condominium building is located in Columbia Heights, a once blighted neighborhood experiencing urban renewal.

Collaborating with the base building architects, STUDIOS reduced the boundaries between inside and outside spaces to highlight the city views. Large expanses of glass, the vast lobby, the fireplace, and the use of stone and moss in both exterior and interior spaces all reinforce the organic flow. To create an environment that is sleek and modern yet still warm and inviting, the design team made use of dark wood, natural stone, and an eclectic mix of furniture. The design concept is extended by using similar finishes, fixtures and palettes within the residential units and in all public spaces, to establish a cohesive design throughout.
