Associate Principal

“In one of my first projects, we were designing a veterinary clinic for a couple starting their own practice. While showing them some initial design concepts, I was surprised when they started to cry. It was the first realization I had of the value of the work we do and the meaning it has to the people we do it for.”

For Kelly, architecture is the perfect pairing of the creativity of art with the rigor of mathematics. A problem-solver at heart, she thrives on being the architect of the design process as much as of the space itself. Her diligence, open communication style, and desire to make people’s lives better has helped her build trust and long-lasting relationships with her clients, consultants, and contractors. Kelly is happiest when working in dynamic team environments where everyone brings something different to the table.

Her work includes projects for a number of technology and creative companies, including our own San Francisco studio. Kelly is also a member of our Workplace Taskforce, exploring new ways of working during COVID-19 and beyond.
