Hiroshi Jacobs, AIA, LEED AP

Hiroshi is an architect and artist whose designs and artwork have appeared in numerous publications and exhibitions. He joined Studios in 2012 and has since been an integral design team leader on a number of high profile and award-winning projects, including the Georgetown School of Continuing Studies, KIPP DC College Prep near Union Market, 1500 Broadway in Times Square, NY, Penzance’s The Highlands, and JBG Smith’s Midline, and Reston Town Center West developments.

Hiroshi is always creating. In his spare time, Hiroshi works with local arts organizations and developers to create temporary and permanent public art installations. He was selected as an Outpost of OfficeUS for the American Pavilion at the 2014 Venice Biennale, and received the 2014 national AIA Associates Award for his work in design and technology. Hiroshi has also held academic faculty positions at Tulane University, the Catholic University of America, the University of Maryland, and in the Harvard GSD Career Discovery program. Additionally, he served on the jury for the 2015 National AIA Honor Awards for Collaborative Achievement.
