Kelly Funk, NCIDQ

Associate Principal - New York, Washington, DC

Kelly believes that an organization’s business strategy and real estate assets should complement each other in a way that supports current work models and anticipates the evolution of the business. She does this by beginning each project with the identification of datasets that matter most to the organization and the project at hand. Rather than collect data for data’s sake, she carefully gathers what is relevant to each project’s drivers and transforms it into information that improves the decision-making and design processes.

Partnering with design teams, Kelly then uses this information to create people‑centered designs which focus on the way people will work tomorrow while also supporting the transition from how they work today. The resulting design integrates a company’s culture and social fabric, is digitally connected and brand sensitive, and echoes a spirit of innovation to create an authentic, active experience for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Having worked at all scales—from a start-up’s first 10,000-square-foot office to the multi-million-square-foot headquarters of Fortune-ranked companies—Kelly is capable of leveraging the power of data for any client.
