Boréal is a new building located in the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris. It replaces three structures previously used as workshops and which were slated for demolition. This new building has a threefold purpose: offices, workshops and changing rooms for the personnel of the facility.

The aim was for the architecture to blend into the heart of the Jardin d’Acclimatation. The volume of this parallelepiped corresponds perfectly to the program while also providing perfect energy efficiency thanks to low consumption and bio-fuels.

Although the infrastructure is made of concrete, the façade is clad in wood fixed to glue-laminated porticos visible from the inside of the building. The green roof tops off its insertion into the landscape.
