STUDIOS Names Brian Pilot as Next CEO

As a leader at STUDIOS, Brian Pilot has embodied this value. We are proud to announce that the STUDIOS Board has elected Brian to serve as our next CEO, with the transition taking place in October.

Brian is the right leader for this moment. At STUDIOS, he has shaped some of our most defining projects while leading the firm’s expansion into new market sectors. He is actively collaborating with each of our six offices and has a leadership style that draws out the best thinking from the people around him.

STUDIOS has established a leadership model designed to evolve as the firm grows and changes, giving leaders the flexibility to take on different roles over time and remain active in design and client work. Brian’s transition into the CEO role reflects that approach.

Over the past five years as CEO, Marc Pfenninger has helped shape STUDIOS into the thriving firm it is today. During his tenure, STUDIOS has grown its practices, strengthened the business, increased collaboration among its offices, and continued to raise the bar for its work and design. Marc will remain a Board Member while returning more of his focus to his practice and the continued growth of our work on the West Coast. Marnique Heath will continue as Board Chair, working closely with Brian and Marc to bring the full depth of STUDIOS’ talent and experience to our work.
