This project transformed a utilitarian building structure into a world-class headquarters within a broader network of McCormick Facilities in Hunt Valley. With a new state-of the-art facade, the design created a neighborhood of double-height building additions to accommodate test-kitchens, training facilities, cafeteria, and a company store.

Situated on a 20-acre site, the project allows the 176-year old company a more pronounced brand exposure, which has always been in the Baltimore region. The new headquarters is in close proximity to several manufacturing facilities McCormick owns throughout Hunt Valley.

The former mechanical penthouse structure was converted to office space for a high-ceiling executive suite, and the typical floor plates were re-invented for McCormick’s employees by creating a large interior atrium and all-new future-focused core facilities.
