National Basketball Association, NBA, wins Interior Design Best of Year Award

The project’s thoughtful workplace design and robust offerings doubled down on the NBA’s commitment to its employees who make the organization what it is. Branded materials represent the League and with a focus on bringing people together, the design features a monumental staircase that threads its way along the building and a café and event space that captures the spirit of the game and the arena.

The café is defined by two distinct areas, the servery and the event area, each with a distinct character, but together create an arena-like experience. Entering the servery you are greeted by a neon sign reading Stern’s Deli, in celebration of former NBA Commissioner David Stern. The deli is surrounded by a variety of stations; each with its own look and feel, resembling the concessions at a game.

NBA was also honored as a finalist in the Sports/Fitness Office category.
