STUDIOS Paris celebrates 30 years

DATEJune 01, 2023

In 1993, we opened the doors of our Paris office, and wrote the first pages of the French story of STUDIOS Architecture, the result of a meeting between Pierre Pastellas and the American founders of STUDIOS. Seduced by their disruptive approach, focused on people and innovation, Pierre Pastellas and James Cowey set about developing the Paris offices to support the tech giants in France. Under the impetus of STUDIOS, the workplace took a new turn and became a strategic resource for attracting talent and developing the company.

Little by little, with the help of our clients who entrusted us with major renovation projects, we have built an expertise in transforming our architectural heritage and positioning it for the future in a sustainable way. Our drive for innovation has led to major collaborations with Frank Gehry, including the Fondation Louis Vuitton and the Fondation Luma in Arles. Our success over the past 30 years lies in our holistic approach, which combines architecture and interior design, environmental issues and the human experience.

Our strength: a model founded on a collective of architects and multicultural teams with complementary expertise. For 30 years, we have been defending a new vision of architecture, one that constantly reinvents itself through collective intelligence, one that is founded in common sense and designed for people. Today, faced with the challenges of climate change, it is thanks to our agile innovation-driven approach that we will invent the ecological models of tomorrow.

Bravo and thank you to all our teams, customers and partners for supporting us in this ambition.
