Designed to promote collaborative work in a research environment, the building was designed to connect to the Genetics Development and Behavioral Science Building, completing the North face of the Campus Quadrangle. The diverse laboratory planning layouts include standard biochemistry-type wet lab modules and lab support space as well as dry or computational biology workstations, and houses specialized procedure rooms for electrophysiology research. Communal spaces encourage interaction among campus personnel, enhancing the university’s research and teaching mission through connectivity. Project was taken through working drawings.
