STUDIOS designed a series of connected, open spaces at the heart of Bordeaux’s Cité Numérique to foster innovation among digital players and create a feeling of community.
Located in a former mail sorting facility converted into a showcase for the La French Tech startup movement, the site was designed by STUDIOS to include inviting, flexible spaces for working, dining and meeting other innovators.
A site at the forefront of new pro-working methods, a blend of the old and the new to foster innovation.
The objective is to attract young talented staff who are passionate about technology and to stimulate, inspire and create new opportunities for collaboration.
The team chose to accentuate the site’s powerful architectural heritage through the use of authentic, raw materials like concrete, metal and wood.
True to the postal industry’s pioneering spirit, STUDIOS selected upcycled materials and furnishings as part of a profoundly environmentally responsible approach.
La French Tech players seek open, connected workspaces that allow them to create bonds and work together in a flexible fashion.
