Buzzfeed selected 225 Park Avenue South for their new headquarters. This news and entertainment company wants to create a space that reflects their highly creative company and vision. STUDIOS provided Buzzfeed with site evaluation services, strategic programming, and interior design services.
The company, which delivers online news and media, wanted each employee to have a dedicated desk—a home—despite the fact that many spend more than 80% of their day away from their desk. To accommodate the habits of their people, we provided space ranging from single‑person rooms for quiet work to small break‑out rooms to large meeting spaces such as the training room.
Space for every person and for every meeting.
STUDIOS created two types of meeting spaces: bookable rooms to accommodate planned meetings and non‑bookable rooms to make sure there are always meeting spaces available for those pop‑up meetings. The two meeting room types are differentiated using decals on the glass fronts.
