STUDIOS was selected by ProShares, a leader in Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s), to design their future workspace at 7272 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda. When the building is complete, ProShares’ new office in the 23-story Class A office building developed by CARR Properties will span 5,500 sq ft across the top three floors (20-22). A large departure from the firm’s previous location, the workspace will include an amenity-rich program and expansive views of the national monuments for more than 200 employees, clients, and visitors.
The design for the new space is a massive departure from the client’s existing office. With the interior layout primarily dedicated to interior offices and workstations, the building’s daylight and expansive views are maximized across all three floors. Introducing a full height atrium near the core allows open verticality connection from each level, further bridging the space to interact and engage.
STUDIOS’ design revolves around an interactive “hub,” a central gathering space to include a staffed barista, grab & go food, informal conference spaces, innovation library, and reception. With an interconnecting stair, the hub will be one of the main focal points of the office, encouraging employees to circulate the floors and increasing interaction among staff.
