The Kirkland & Ellis law firm asked STUDIOS to break with traditional approaches to law offices and design a space that reflects the unique personality of the Paris office where team members could feel “at home.”

Blurring the line between residential and office concepts, STUDIOS created a workplace that offer the warmth of a Haussmann-era apartment and the comfort and functionality required by a law firm.

Comfortable and welcoming workspaces foster collaboration and productivity, and exchanges with colleagues are facilitated by the site’s coffee bar, breakdown space and other break areas throughout.

Clients are received in areas that were designed to welcome them with services inspired by the hotel industry

A law firm that blurs the line between office and home

Complete with curtains, shelves and armchairs, the firm’s offices are warm and elegant, in keeping with the spirit of a refined Parisian apartment.

Noble materials and original architectural elements of this Haussmann-era apartment are highlighted. STUDIOS paid great attention to the choice of lighting fixtures to add surprising, refined notes to the site’s elegant and lively conference rooms.
