For their new headquarters, Maximus selected an upper floor in the iconoclastic Maritime Building, located in San Francisco’s Northern Waterfront, and engaged STUDIOS to help them organize their space both around their work practices and the unobstructed views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay, and Coit Tower.

The large conference room features an operable glass Nana wall, opening out to the lobby for all-hands meetings and events.

We placed the primary circulation and common areas around the perimeter so that no one is ever far away from a window and the fantastic views.

We provided generous space throughout for Maximus to display their significant art collection.

We selected specialty furniture for the lobby and Founder's office, including original pieces by early 20th century masters: Gio Ponti, Hans Wegner, Eero Saarinen, Milo Baughman, Federico, Funari, Osvaldo Borsani, Paul Evans, and Harvey Probber.
