STUDIOS Announces New Principals in New York and Washington, DC

Garrett Brignoli has been promoted to Principal in our New York studio. Since joining STUDIOS nearly 10 years ago, Garrett has worked on some of STUDIOS’ most complex and award-winning projects, establishing himself as a leading designer within the firm. His prowess to drive innovation for a variety of project types and scales has included: Hogan Lovells, ProShares, the IISER Master Plan, Silicon Valley Bank, and many others.

Inspired by craft and the art of making, Garrett celebrates the design process. He is a skilled translator and communicator of design, and promotes the importance of verbal and visual storytelling in bringing all audiences, particularly clients, into the process. His natural ability to foster trust allows clients to take bigger risks and discover the transformative properties of design.

Monica Castro has been promoted to Principal in our Washington, DC studio. Since joining STUDIOS in 2015, she has had a profound impact on our ability to collaborate with clients and stakeholders on complex projects of all scales. She transforms innovative design concepts into buildable solutions that represent the goals and vision of our clients.

In her fifteen years of experience, Monica has led a variety of project types, including corporate interiors, law firms, and building repositioning projects in Washington, DC and beyond. Most recently, she managed Ballston Exchange, Silicon Valley Bank, McCormick’s Global Headquarters, and Western & Southern, among several others.
