The challenge of this project was to reposition a complex of four Haussmann-era buildings to anticipate future needs and make it relevant long-term, while reconciling the requirements of its landlord, SFL, with the needs of its tenant, WeWork.

STUDIOS’ expertise in the user experience proved vital in revealing the site’s potential. The agency’s teams revamped the reception lobby, opening it up to create a feeling of porosity with the surrounding neighborhood and let natural light in.

The ground floor was revamped to connect the lobby to a large double-height atrium with a glass ceiling and second-floor mezzanine level made accessible thanks to the creation of a new staircase.

Surpass existing constraints to fulfill the requirements of a co-working site within a global structural renovation

Upon signature of a lease by WeWork during the design phase, STUDIOS integrated the specific requirements of co-working spaces by significantly increasing capacity without detracting from the coherence of the site as a whole. This optimization required modifications to technical and security infrastructure, including the creation of five staircases that were designed around numerous shops located on the ground floor.
