The Just B ensemble comprises two juxtaposed buildings: the street-facing building with nine floors, and the courtyard-side building with four floors.

To create the new identity of the site, the architects opted for a pluralistic approach reflecting the diversity of the neighborhood, where offices and residential buildings coexist. Varied architectural expressions, inspired by the materials and color palette of Boulogne-Billancourt, ensure seamless integration into the urban context.

On the rue de Silly side, the building’s entrance features a bright, dynamic façade with a contemporary design. Terracotta brise-soleil elements create a kinetic movement that engages passersby while gradually revealing the activities inside.

The rear building, including its extensions, is clad in brick to harmonize with the surrounding materials, while its west façade, designed in an “artist’s studio” style, maximizes transparency

Green and social spaces

Courtyards, terraces, and rooftops become accessible green destinations. The residential-side courtyard, designed as a village square, and landscaped terraces offer relaxation, meeting spots, and views for the surrounding neighborhood.

Varied interior experiences

Inside, a double-height lobby acts as a social hub, leading to a first-floor co-working area. Warm wood finishes, a brick-clad Welcome Bar, and large open-plan floors create flexible, comfortable workspaces with abundant natural light.

Environmental excellence

Just B sets a high standard for sustainable renovation, achieving BREEAM Excellent, BBCA Rénovation, BiodiverCity Excellent, WiredScore Silver, and R2S 2 Stars certifications. The project demonstrates how adaptive architecture can combine performance, comfort, and urban regeneration.
