A welcoming community destination for the campus, The Hub brings people together to eat, meet, and relax. The new all-electric building features local favorites Coupa Café and Mike’s Bikes, as well as event space, a transit hub, and creative office/incubator spaces.
The main level features Coupa Café, Mike’s Bikes, a mobility concierge and transit lounge, and event space with a prefunction area. The large dining room feeds out to the plaza with ample outdoor seating and a recreation area. On the second floor, multi-tenant creative office space connects to a shared central pantry and deck.
The Hub features a series of murals by artists Amos Goldbaum, fnnch, Jet Martinez, Kentaro, and REALM Art + Design.
The Hub supports and encourages mass transit ridership, car and scooter share programs, and bicycle commuting with bike share and repair services.
The all-electric building with a commercial kitchen includes a heat pump hot water system and 4,600 sq ft of photovoltaic panels, resulting in an 86% reduction of EUI from the national average, exceeding the 2030 Commitment. The Hub also features the first in a series of solar-powered bus stops throughout the campus.
